UT Inspector
Job Highlights:
- Perform ultrasonic testing of steel pipes and weld areas.
- Operate and maintain UT inspection equipment.
- Detect and evaluate internal and surface-related discontinuities using appropriate NDT techniques.
- Interpret test results according to applicable procedures and specifications.
- Maintain accurate inspection and testing records.
- Identify and report non-conformities.
- Coordinate with QC and production teams.
- Ensure inspection equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
- Follow approved NDT procedures and safety requirements.
- Diploma, Vocational qualification, or ITI.
- Relevant experience in UT/NDT inspection, preferably in steel pipe manufacturing.
- Practical knowledge of ultrasonic testing equipment and procedures.
- Ability to interpret UT results and prepare inspection reports.
- Relevant UT/NDT certification as required by the client/project.
We are looking for UT Inspectors to perform ultrasonic testing and quality inspection activities for steel pipes manufactured in an LSAW production facility.
