IT Desk Top Technician

Job Highlights:

  • Respond to IT service requests and incidents via ticketing systems, phone, email, or in person.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues in a timely manner.
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, operating systems, and standard business applications.
  • Perform hardware upgrades, replacements, and troubleshooting (RAM, HDD/SSD, peripherals).
  • Support installation and troubleshooting of authorized software and applications.
  • Assist with basic network troubleshooting, including LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and printer connectivity.
  • Configure and support networked devices such as printers and scanners.
  • Escalate complex network issues to the appropriate IT teams.
  • Support user account creation, modification, and deactivation (Active Directory, email, and business systems). Reset passwords and manage access permissions as per IT policies.
  • Perform routine system updates, patches, antivirus checks, and backups. Ensure compliance with IT security policies and data protection standards.
  • Report security incidents, malware threats, or policy violations immediately.
